We are no strangers to the concept of value. Every time we make a decision, we consciously or unconsciously consider its worth and rationale. Although defined broadly across disciplines, values arguably serve as the ethical foundations of our thinking and actions.
In sustainability discourse, economic, social, and ecological values are frequently mentioned, with economic ones often taking precedence. This book focuses on ecological agriculture in China through the lens of values, examining the underlying motivations for practicing such agriculture. Within these pages, you will discover thought-provoking insights and compelling analyses that elucidate the intricate interplay between values, ecological agriculture, and its localised implementation.
